Orbital Duet brings together the Moon in its waxing gibbous phase and Jupiter in a single composition. Captured through telescopes with an astronomy camera over 18,000 images were stacked together for the details of the Moon, revealing its hidden metal mineral colours. Whilst Jupiter's orange belts caused by gases in its atmosphere can be seen. Though it appears small and far away here, Jupiter's immense gravity protects the Moon and Earth itself from countless potential impacts of asteroids and comets, standing as a silent guardian in our solar system.
