The Snow Moon gets it's name by being the full moon of February and this being the snowiest month in the Northern Hemisphere
A 6 panel mosaic was created for this full moon meaning the moon was divided up into different panels and then captured in video through a telescope. These 6 panels are then stitched together to create the full moon, this technique allows for capturing at a longer focal length creating more detail. In total around 35,000 individual frames create the complete moon
